Squad training is held each week under the instruction of coaches Kattya and Jen.
- To ensure swimmers are enjoying their swimming.
- To improve overall stroke technique, turns and dives.
- To increase general fitness.
- Correct turns and strokes for all individual and medley transitions.
- Regularly attend weekly training sessions.
Intermediate Squad – 30 mins
Thursday 3:30pm – 4pm : minimum requirement to swim full laps in both freestyle and backstroke, moderate stroke correction provided.
Senior Squad – 45 mins
Thursday 4pm-4.45pm : able to swim full laps in all four strokes. Strength building and conditioning with minimal stroke correction.
